Matta Rice, also known as Palakkadan Matta rice, Kerala Red rice or Red Parboiled rice, is locally sourced from the Palakkad region. Used in a wide variety of foods. Matta Rice is packed with healthy nutrients. It is a much better option over white rice. Unlike white rice, these are unpolished resulting in them to retain the outer coat which is full of nutritional goodness.
