Shree Kokam Black can be used in curries to add a sour flavour. Kokum is used extensively in the Konkan and Malabar regions to flavour curries of fish, okra, potatoes etc. In some places, it is used in place of Tamarind and actually considered a healthy alternative. Kokum helps in fighting obesity and is found to be having anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.
