Nendran Bananas are a variety of banana, much bigger in size than the regular Robusta bananas. The flesh is firmer, silkier and sweeter. It is normal for Nendran bananas to turn black or blackish through the process of ripening. They have a distinct neck with thick green skin. Raw banana is widely used for chips preparation.
